I was today years old…

I’m angrier than a UPS driver who can’t take left turns over the fact that I’ve been using Windows’ calculator without knowing about a handy feature that many people miss everyday, despite the fact that it’s right there.  I was one of those people.  I posted a quick video on TikTok and Instagram about it.

It turns out that all you have to do is hit the three horizontal lines to the left, and you can choose the date calculation feature.  As an example, I used the date of my high school graduation, June 12, 1997 and ended the date range with today, May 31, 2024.

Through that feature, I was able to see that I graduated from Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing, New Jersey 26 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 2 days ago.  I was also able to see that my second marriage has lasted 20 years, 4 months, 1 week, or 7,433 days.  Not that I’m counting.

Although the feature isn’t really groundbreaking, it does come in handy when you need something like this.
