I’m angrier than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs, because nothing like this seems to ever happen in Albany. But it did happen in right here in New York state, so there’s that. It seems that a hapless guy experienced that crushing feeling while he was working on his car.
It happened in Dundee, which is in Ontario County. He was trying to change a tire on his mobile home when the jack gave way and he got crushed to death. Clearly, he didn’t know how to properly secure a jack. Rescuers attempted to save his no life, but their efforts were hopeless and unavailing.
Ahh, that crushing feeling. You can’t help but laugh at idiots like this, those who try to do things for themselves without knowing what to do. I find this story to be funny, a laugh at his expense. I’ll admit up front that I don’t know how to use a jack, so you won’t catch me pretending that I know what to do, like this guy did.
