I’m angrier than a citizen who expects his county to do things correctly. That’s because the county’s scumbag County Executive Daniel McCoy, has announced that county servers may have been breached. If that’s the case, then security best practices weren’t followed.
As if it makes anything better, McCoy said that, at least for right now, the impact of the potential breach is minimal. This isn’t the first time this has happened, as the Times Union reported. McCoy is incompetent all around. He refuses to suspend his assistant, who was arrested for DUI. There’s no accountability in this county when you’re a government official.
