TikTok becomes a game changer

I’m angrier than a 2 Unlimited fan who just found out that, back in the day, apparently assaulted Anita on more than one occasion.  I’m also angry because TikTok hasn’t stepped up sooner.  But at least they have stepped up!  The massively popular social media platform has announced that it is experimenting with letting users post videos that are up to one hour in length.

Right now, it’s in beta testing available to only a few select users.  Right now, there are no plans to make it available to the wider TikTok community.  Of course, this might be too little too late given that the site has less than a year to sell itself to another company lest it be banned here in the United States.

TikTok has been around since 2016 and has, in recent years, become increasingly relevant.  It will be interesting, however, to see if this feature brings more users in.  There is a lot about TikTok that can be improved upon, so perhaps they should tend to that before playing with the big boys.

I, like many others, have a TikTok profile, and I’m not quite sure what to do with it other than post photographs set to music.  Obviously, there are numerous content creators that make a living producing content for the site, and it is those people who will massively benefit from this new feature.

Will this make TikTok even more popular than it is right now?   Time will tell.
