I’m angrier than a Catholic without incense over this next one, folks. I’m angry because what’s happening should have happened a long time ago. Fans of Wheel of Fortune are no doubt sad that host Pat Sajak is leaving at the end of this season. He has hosted the famous game show since 1981.
Sajak will be replaced by jack of all trades Ryan Seacrest. I can only imagine how maudlin his departure will be. Indeed, the episode that airs on June 7. That means his farewell episode has not yet been taped. We will soon see if they’re going to put out a tear-jerker or if they’ll toss him to the curb with no ceremony. Sajak deserves the latter.
