As the situation in Iran deteriorates with every passing hour, many American citizens stupid enough to be in that region are stranded. I’ve written about this. I have no sympathy for them. None at all. Many have found out that the United States is not obligated to ferry them home. However, numerous MAGA loyalists have been whisked away to safety. That is as it should be.
No reasonable person can expect to trash talk Trump and then expect him to use taxpayer monies to clean up their mess. No one is obligated to get them home. Again, they put themselves in that situation. Now, I think that it’s reasonable to transport those who actually support our president while leaving the DemocRATS to rot. I find great amusement in this situation.
Yes, it’s true. Private jets have been provided for MAGA influencers and, for that matter, known MAGA loyalists. I have no problem with this. I think it’s actually a wonderful thing! Those people who are stranded? Well, maybe they should have supported Trump. Had they done so, they’d likely be home now. I hope they’re realizing the error of their ways.
As you might imagine, those Americans left behind are whining and crying, playing the victim. Well, maybe they shouldn’t have gone to hostile territory. I’m not a hypocrite; if I went to North Korea, for example, I wouldn’t cry out for my country to take me home. It simply doesn’t work that way, especially if you’re not MAGA and even more especially if you’re a DemocRAT.
I have absolutely no sympathy for those who are rightfully being left behind. They have no one but themselves to blame for their situation. Surely they knew that traveling to certain countries carries with it a certain amount of risk. When the skies were fair, they had no problem bragging on social media about their fancy trips, but now that things aren’t cutting their way, out come the tears. No sympathy!
Many people are complaining that the US government is saying they should come home when airports are jammed, flights are canceled and any other means of egress are non-existent. Well, what did they expect? Surely they knew something like this would happen, or they would had they simply browsed a news site or two.
Apparently, some people are being told that our government is making plans to save people. Well, they should abandon those plans. Why should taxpayers piss away money on people who did something stupid? These people assumed the risk and now that risk has come home to roost, they’re crying victim. Not so!
Look, things are only going to get worse in and around Iran. Those people who are stuck there are likely stuck for the remainder of the war, a conflict that will likely last a year or more. So rather than crying to the media and rather than playing the victim, they may as well get right with God because they’re about to meet Him.
Or, if they’re a DemocRAT, they’ll meet Lucifer, but I digress.
