I am still here!

This will likely disappoint some people within the Albany New York Police Department, as well as many others, but I am still alive.  I haven’t, you know, died or anything like that.  Whereas I used to post every day, sometimes several times in a given a day, however, I have only been posting articles a few times a week.

Well, not that I need to explain anything to anyone, things have changed in my life.  I now work full time in a regular job and the last thing I want to do when I get home is blog.  The only reason that I am posting today is because today, of course, is a federal holiday and I am off today.  I now work in a typical 8am to 4:30pm job.

Well, actually, it’s not all that typical.  Because of the nature of my job, I cannot give details as I have signed a very aggressive NDA and telling you where I work could potentially put me and my co-workers in serious peril.  Accordingly, all I can say is that…no, forget it.  I can’t even go into detail on my resume.

As you might imagine, when I stumble into my residence in a few minutes after I waltz out of work, the last thing I want to do is peruse websites for story ideas and then write articles in the snarky, sarcastic and maybe even rude manner that I do.  But then again, those are the sorts of articles you’re here for, right?

By all means, still check back often.  There are a few of you who visit my site every day, sometimes three or more times a day, especially people from the APD and elsewhere in the city.  Maybe they’re looking for new articles regarding Jan Mika, the cowardly APD cop who selfishly killed himself on Christmas Eve.

Well, I can save the people who are here for Mika-related articles some time: I am done using Mika as my chew toy, so I have moved on.  If you’re seeking new Mika articles, you should move on as well.

Make no mistake, I will continue to blog, but I probably won’t be doing so every single day.  When I get home, I want to relax and make it so that I am in bed by 8:00.  Things aren’t the way they used to be, but I will never quit blogging.
