Resume

For privacy reasons, I am unable to post my detailed resume as my current employment has me working at a company that is the only one in the state to do what we do.  However, I will say, generically speaking, that it is in the general area of medical claims in a position that allows me to delay, delay, deny.  I am good at what I do: saving insurance companies money by delaying and denying as many claims as possible.

I have in the past worked in the following areas:

  • Customer service and technical support
  • Call Center, inbound
  • Retail management
  • Master control operator and board operator
  • Medical billing and claims
  • Data processing for government agencies
  • Teaching assistant for students with autism

If you have a legitimate need to see my full resume, email me at michael.crook@michaelcrook.net.

I do possess the following skillsets:

  • Data Entry, 70 wpm
  • Customer Service
  • Technical Support
  • HIPAA compliance
  • Medical Coding
  • American Sign Language interpretation
  • Legal transcription
  • Testing and activating of the Emergency Alert System
  • Conflict resolution

I have experience in working as a temporary agent for a temporary agency.  I am okay with working assignments that range from one day to a long-term arrangement.  I am not interested in temp-to-hire.

Here are my requirements for a permanent job or a temporary assignment.  None of them are negotiable:

  • Available only Monday through Friday.
  • Available no earlier than 8:00 am and no later than 4:30 pm.
  • No holidays.
  • No mandatory overtime.
  • Minimum hourly pay is $19.00, no salary.
  • Pay must be either weekly or bi-weekly and direct deposit is required.  The payroll provider must be either ADP or Paychex.
  • The workplace must not ever be described as a “family.”
  • Workplace must offer a smoking shelter.
  • My personal cell phone cannot be used to perform company tasks, even for merely receiving 2FA credentials.  This is a requirement even if a subsidy is given.
