  • I leave my personal life and problems at the door, resulting in me causing far less drama than those co-workers who bring their personal lives to their desk.

My ideal job would meet the following requirements, all of which are non-negotiable:

  • Monday through Friday only
  • No earlier than 8:00 am and no later than 5:00 pm
  • Minimum salary: no less than $41,000 or hourly: no less than $18/hr
  • No commission-only
  • No driver’s license requirement as I am medically revoked
  • Must be able to accommodate my DNR/MOLST directives, i.e. must be willing to ensure that people wait five minutes before calling 911 in the event that my heart or breathing stops.  Must be willing to ensure that co-workers know not to take any life-saving measures in the event of said stoppages
  • Must be desk-based
  • No retail
  • No holidays
  • Holiday pay

  • If an employee is known by co-workers to have HIV or AIDS, I will not work for your company.  I refuse to die at your company’s hand.
  • Must be allowed to have my cell phone in my possession at all times in order to prevent theft and to ensure personal safety.  This would come with the stipulation that personal phone calls, e-mail checks and so forth will not be performed at my desk
  • Must not be expected to use my personal cell phone for company tasks and that’s with or without a subsidy
  • No requirement to communicate in Spanish
  • No requirement to feel empathy or compassion for others
  • Workplace must not allow co-workers to do any form of fundraising/donations
  • Workplace must be child free at all times as I should not be subjected to them at the workplace
