I should have researched

Yesterday, I discussed Albany’s new mayor and the fact that she handed raises and new positions out like candy despite the city being in a financial crisis exceeding $60 million.  Yes, this is the mayor who sent minions to harass me as retaliation for me running in the election last year.  Yes, this is the black mayor who should have stepped aside for a White candidate.

One of the things that I wrote yesterday was that I planned to initiate the process for a recall election.  Well, I can admit when I’m wrong, and I’m wrong here.  In this state, there are no recall elections and that means that we’re stuck with her and her financially irresponsible ways for four years.

Many states do have a method for holding a recall election, but sadly, New York is not one of those states.  This means that Albany is, for lack of a better term, absolutely screwed.  This is what happens when you put a black in the mayor’s seat.  This is what happens when you put a DemocRAT in office.

I have to wonder if the people who voted for her are regretting their choice.  If they don’t now, they likely will very soon as I am certain that she will, on a daily basis, fail Albany and its citizens.  She is concerned with only her interests, never ours.  In the coming weeks, months and years, she will ruin Albany even more than the previous mayor did.

Had I taken office, there would have been massive layoffs and pay cuts.  She is doing the direct opposite.  My way would have repaired Albany.  Her way will ruin Albany.  We may as well declare bankruptcy right now and call it a day.

If you voted for her, you own this.  This is on you.  You put her in office.  If you voted against her, then you are a true patriot and you truly care about Albany.
