Some people just aren’t that bright and they pay dearly for that in the form of losing their life. Kyle Ferree was one of those people, folks. He was a linesman with Louisville Gas and Electric Company. On November 6th, he made a critical error while climbing a pole and attempting to re-connect power in Indiana.
I’m guessing that he found the experience to be quite shocking, to the point of frying his body and losing his life. It’s kind of hard to feel sorry for a dumbass like that. I just have to wonder: why did he not secure himself and ensure that he was doing his job safely? One source says that his death was an “on the job tragedy.” Well, no. It was not a tragedy. Oooh, it’s shocking!
No, it was not a tragedy, but it was a real-life lesson in how not to do a job. He seems to have been an experienced linesman, so why did he do something so stupid? I wish someone had been recording the incident, whatever it may have been. He probably died with burns over most of his body and he may have been sizzled a little bit. I would pay to see something like that.
Apparently, Feree, 33, who was supposedly skilled, was climbing a pole. His hands slipped and he fell to the ground, hitting it with a sickening but hilarious thud. All his co-workers could do is stand idle with their thumbs up their asses. Some co-workers, huh? Was he properly strapped in? Clearly not. One source states that his harness failed. Did he use it properly? Well, harnesses don’t just up and fail on their own, do they?
Did he have the proper gloves for the task? A resounding no. Did he die a dumbass? Absolutely!
If anything, his job was hot and he didn’t need coffee to get a jolt, did he? Okay, okay, I should stop now.
His death is still being investigated, but I am certain that the ultimate reason for his death was his own dumbassery. Of course, he leaves behind a family, including a cow of a wife. Sooner or later, she’ll move on and some other guy will be grateful that Feree was a dumbass because now, the new guy gets to bang his wife and his kids will soon call someone else “daddy.”
One man’s stupidity is another man’s gain, assuming that she doesn’t smother him when she rolls on top of him.
