I’m angrier than a Republican who sees that PFN Joe Biden just won’t back down from campaigning as the DemocRATic presidential candidate. Even though his debate performance was abysmal, he seems oblivious to the fact that he needs to just go away.
Lots of people seem to feel the way that I do: Biden needs to not only allow a more suitable candidate take over the DemocRATic ticket, but he needs to resign. Right now.
Over the weekend, calls from all around the nation demanding that Biden quit his campaign. Others are insisting that he should not only do that, but should resign. I am one of those people who feels that he needs to do both and he needs to do so now.
Biden didn’t do the right thing over the weekend, but the time is right: make today, Monday, July 1, 2024 the day that Joey did the right thing.
The New York Times called for him to quit “to serve his country.” That is exactly the best and only way that Sleepy Joe can serve his country: quit right now and then immediately resign, allowing Kamala Harris to step up until January 20. She’s the lesser evil and she’d make history as the first woman president, even if she is a DemocRAT.
Even fellow DemocRATS are slamming Biden’s debate performance and many of them want someone else to take over the party’s ticket. Who would that be?
The Republicans seem keen to vote American hero Donald Trump onto the presidential ticket days before his sentencing for, no pun intended, trumped-up charges that should have never seen the light of day. Will Trump be in prison when it’s time to make his candidacy official? We don’t know. What I do know is that I support him all the way.
As for Biden, if he cares about the United States, he will walk away right now.
