It happened again!

Over the course of the past few weekends, I have written and made TikTok videos regarding a beggar who keeps coming onto parish property just before Mass, harassing people in the parking lot and even at their cars.  You can watch today’s video.

I went so far as to escort him off the property a couple of times after a few people complained and after my wife ran into the sanctuary, concerned for her safety.  When he came after my wife, all bets were off and you damn well better believe that I walked him out the door and left him on the street.  Well, folks, he’s at it again!

The situation has gotten so bad that the parish leadership has advised us to never give them (it’s only one person) money and stated that they should be escorted off the property.  I am so proud to be a parishioner at [REDACTED].

Today, as I walked to the door, I saw the guy.  Once he saw me, his eyes got real big.  He put up his hands and slowly backed away, turned and then ran away like a little bitch.  As he did so, I yelled after him to never come back and to get a job.  Damn, that felt good!

I will continue to escort him and any other beggar off of parish property because people are becoming annoyed and even fearful for their safety.  No one should ever have to put up with a beggar anywhere, especially at Mass!

Some may say that I’m being harsh and that I should feed him and give him money.  I would never do that sort of thing as I feel no sympathy for those whose actions or inactions led to their need to beg.  It is not my job to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked or to give them money.  It is my job as an usher and as a parishioner to protect my fellow Catholics.

I will take that job very seriously, especially since today he tried harassing an elderly parishioner who was genuinely and rightfully scared of him.  When people harass my fellow Catholics, I become angry.

You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry, especially if you’re a beggar!
