Rabbiatu Kuyateh, 58, messed around and found out. The immigrant was taken into custody in a surprise move at an ICE facility. She was seized during what she thought was a routine immigration visit. She quickly found out that she messed with the wrong country. Kuyateh was held in Maryland and then relocated.
Ultimately, this person was deported to Ghana and she alleges, of course, that she was mistreated and that she should stay in America. Well, apparently ICE begged to differ, and if there’s one thing an immigrant should know, it’s that ICE is not playing.
She was shackled during a flight that took ten hours. Upon arriving at her destination, the story goes that she was assaulted and otherwise mistreated. So? She clearly did not belong in our country, and ICE, thankfully, did everything it could to remove her from our fine country. I feel no sympathy for her.
Look, if you’re an immigrant, especially an illegal one, you should expect to be caught one day and sent back home, regardless of how dangerous or unpleasant that country is.
I’ve done my part. I came across an illegal once and reported him. In less than two weeks, he was gone and soon after that, he was deported. Do I feel guilty? No. I don’t want immigrants in my country. It’s just that simple.
It does not bother me if this person, or any immigrant for that matter, was mistreated. She brought this upon herself and she should be thankful that she’s alive. Sure, she’s been torn from her family here in the United States, but she’s not entitled to anything in this country, not even a family.
Hopefully, ICE will continue to remove any and all immigrants, by any means necessary.
