Frequent visitors to my blog know that I consider President Donald Trump to be the finest president whom our nation has ever known. I’ve subscribed to his mailing list. I’ve contributed to his campaign and I even signed up for a Truth Social account.
But his last move…well, I can’t get behind it. Trump is offering a cell phone service that will cost $47.45 a month. Clever.
One of his plans has all of the bells and whistles that anyone would want. Unlimited everything, international calls, roadside assistance. It really does sound like a good deal. But would I leave my current provider of 13 years? No, not for a cell phone “company” that is merely an MVNO.
Yes, he promises US-based customer care, but my plan offers unlimited everything, tethering and a lot more. No matter how much I support Trump and his administration, I simply can’t walk away from a provider that has been nothing good to me.
It looks like the Trump Phone will piggyback on T-Mobile’s network, indeed making it an MVNO. For just so many reasons, I’m out.
