There aren’t many things in life that truly enrage me. Democrats. Slow drivers. Mormon missionaries. But there is something that truly makes me angry: people who abuse cats. One scumbag by the name of Ray Neuberger has done that numerous times and he is finally going to prison.
Neuberger is, or rather was, a former government official in Fairfield, Connecticut. He has abused cats on multiple occasions. This time, however, he showed beyond measure the world what a monster he is. By his own admission in open court, he doused an innocent kitten with bleach and he then beat that innocent animal to death.
But that’s not all. He threatened police officers and is now going to pay for his deeds. Now, he will sit in prison where, I hope, his fellow inmates will show him what happens to people who kill kittens.
I should add here that this guy was already on probation for abusing other kittens and he decided to commit the same horrific crime, knowing that he would be violating the terms of his probation. He served prison time and he has clearly not learned his lesson.
This guy dramatically threatened suicide when confronted by cops, apparently thinking that they would just walk away. How wrong he was!
As for his latest crimes against felines, he will serve a light 17 months in prison, followed by probation. That is way too light of a sentence, showing that the lives of kittens aren’t important to the government. His prison term is a cake walk. It’s a reward. It does not send a message.
He will also suffer other consequences:
- Four years of probation
- No pets and no being near animals without supervision
- Mental health treatment
- Alcochol treatment
- Animal abuse classes
None of that is a real punishment.
People like Neuberger disgust me. When he gets out of prison, he will likely find more cats to kill and when that happens, their blood will be upon the hands of the judge and prosecutors. His scumbag attorney whined that his client is remorseful, but Neuberger is a monster. Monsters don’t have remorse. Footage of him in court with a non-remorseful facial expression is proof of that. His mug shot is also proof of that lack of remorse.
