Here is yet another story for the “Stupid! You’re so stupid!” files. If you want to read other such stories, go to the stupid page already! In this installation, Rylie McGill, 18, formerly of Alabama and currently of hell, was supposedly intelligent. Having just graduated from high school, she took a little road trip to her college to meet her dormmates and see her living arrangements. She may have been book smart, but she was clearly not prepared for the real world.
McGill decided to drive recklessly and essentially committed suicide by driving. She was the only one involved in a crash and she died at the scene. Maybe she shouldn’t have been driving like an asshat. If she’d driven like a normal person, she’d likely still be alive. Some may say her death is a tragedy. It is not.
No, McGill is now an example of how not to drive, so maybe in that aspect she’s sort of a hero. A dumbass hero, but still, I guess, a hero. If her death can inspire another teenager to not drive recklessly, then I suppose she’s sort of a cult hero.
It really doesn’t surprise me that she was from Alabama, the deep, deep, deep south, full of incest and poor grammar. She drove like a redneck, for all to see.
It’s really quite simple: the world is safer without McGill in it.
