There are a lot of problems with not having a job, even in an era where the jobs are plentiful. One problem is that you make an animal out of yourself, becoming a pitiful beggar, causing you to harass innocent Catholics before Mass. You put yourself in that situation. Then there’s the guy who died just outside of a parking garage at the Albany International Airport.
Dajohn Woodberry Jr. was found unresponsive late last month. The manner of death was hypothermia. The man was confirmed to be homeless and for whatever reason, he chose his own fate in several ways. First and foremost, he died because he didn’t want to hold a, you know, job, like a civilized human being.
He could have chosen a homeless shelter here in Albany, but he chose death instead. His death was of his own choosing and to be honest, it looks as if there will be anyone around to care about or miss him.
Now, if he’d had a job, he would have had a place to live and he wouldn’t have died outside in the bitter cold. See, folks? This is why you go out and get a job!
