The SNAP drama appears to be coming to a close, at least here in New York state. Kathy Hochul, our governor, has promised that SNAP benefits for November will start appearing on cards starting on Sunday, and those benefits will likely show up on a rolling basis, meaning that benefits will be distributed from Sunday through Wednesday.
This really should be enough to enrage anyone who works for a living. Look, I don’t care if people are starving, not even children. If there were true justice, the SNAP program would be abolished altogether. November’s benefits should not be released and, for that matter, neither should December’s!
I imagine that lots of people will be burning the midnight oil to make this happen. It was first announced that, once states received their money, it would take weeks for funds to appear. I would really like to be behind the scenes to see how they’re making this happen.
There’s nothing we can do, folks. The lazy people of our state are about to get more handouts, handouts that they do not deserve. In the old days, you worked or starved. Why can’t that be the case now? In addition to abolishing SNAP, we should close down WIC, Section 8, cash assistance and any and all other forms of welfare. Think of the billions that would be able to be used on wiser things!
So the drama is coming a close. I knew that would happen, and I said as much on my numerous TikTok videos. I am satisfied with watching people starve for a week. Maybe this is the wake-up call that they need to go get jobs and provide for themselves and their families.

The story keeps changing from minute to minute. This is a highly-evolving news story and there is a lot of conflicting information. The latest information is that the Trump administration has thankfully gone to the Supreme Court to ask for a ruling that says they can pay out partial benefits.
So, Trump hasn’t given up, and this is is why I respect him so much and why I consider him to be the finest president in recent memory. According to NBC News, the administration told the states earlier today that they will be funding SNAP, only to do an about-face and go to SCOTUS for relief. This means that people will continue to starve! This is a good day indeed.
As for Hochul and her promise to get funds onto cards starting on Sunday, I have no idea where she got the funds to pull that off if the administration hasn’t wired the funds to the individual states. I’m thinking that she jumped the gun and made a promise that she won’t be able to keep. This might just lose her re-election when the time comes.
I think that what’s happening here is that this story will continue to evolve. One source told me that SCOTUS has until 9:00 pm to rule. NBC News is reporting that, unfortunately, Trump’s administration will pay out full benefits while the appeals process plays out.
Hopefully, Trump will halt the payments to the states and that SCOTUS will grant a stay that will last into next week, causing millions more people, including children, to starve given that food pantries across our state and the nation have run out of food.
With every passing day, I enjoy seeing people whine on TikTok. Please, SCOTUS, please don’t take that away from me! And Mr. President, please don’t cave. Please don’t wire the states that money.
