Alleged kitten victimizer gets let out!

If the charges against Gregory Leary, 76, of  Ridge Road in Canajoharie, New York are true, then he intentionally swerved his vehicle in order to kill a kitten.  Fortunately, the kitten did not die but did lose a leg and all because of Leary’s alleged actions.

Here in New York state, animal cruelty is taken very seriously thanks to Buster’s Law, named after a dog who was abused and then burned alive.  Thankfully, Leary was arrested, but it’s beyond me why he’s out walking the streets.  He’s apparently facing federal felony charges, and if that’s the case, then why did he get a walk ahead of his trial?

The proper thing to do would have been to put him in the county jail with his cellmate being a guy who has nothing to lose and who hates kitten killers.  I know that if I were his cellmate and if I had nothing and no one waiting for me on the outside, I would kill him knowing that I had nothing to lose.

But, no.  Leary is out there, likely targeting more innocent kittens.  And his mug shot sure makes him look like a winner.

Unintentionally striking a kitten is bad enough and it should result in a lengthy jail sentence, but to do it on purpose?  That should be met with a severe federal prison sentence where the kitty abuser is placed with the worst society has to offer.  That abuser would soon learn why it’s called the pokey.

In accordance with Buster’s Law, this scumbag faces charges of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals.  Sadly, he will likely get a cake walk sentence of two years, hardly a punishment, more a reward.

Hopefully, they won’t go easy on Leary.  He needs a fierce prosecutor and judge to rain down hell upon him and make an example out of him.  I feel that any attorney who takes his case should be disbarred for being immoral.  Yes, Leary has a right to a defense, sadly, but that does not mean an attorney has to take the case.

Based on what I’m reading, Leary intentionally did this.  Allegedly, of course.  That makes him a monster and there’s only one way to deal with a monster.
