My frequent readers know how much I love it when illegals get caught and who are sent packing. Although I, with good reason, mostly mock the Mexicans, they are not always the problem. Even Canadians are feeling the effects of President Donald Trump’s aggressive immigration policies.
Sometimes, even Trump’s own supporters feel the burn that a Trump-led ICE is giving out. So it is in the matter of Chris Landry, a man residing in the United States who holds a green card. Well, that document is not a right. It is a privilege and it looks Landry’s entitlement is over.
Landry lives, or lived, in New Hampshire since he was a young child and he has built a life in our country despite not being an actual citizen. Well, he recently tried to re-enter the United States after a visit to Canada.
Indeed, Landry was detained and torn apart from his family, and that is as it should be. He was turned away because he has a awful criminal history, a history that should absolutely be the cause of his being turned away.
Though he was a Trump supporter, he has apparently pivoted. Just because things didn’t cut his way, he trash talks the finest president our nation has ever known. Typical RINO move.
Customs and border patrol recently told a media outlet the following:
“Possessing a green card is a privilege, not a right, and under our nation’s laws, our government has the authority to revoke a green card if our laws are broken or abused.
Lawful Permanent Residents presenting at a US port of entry with previous criminal convictions may be subject to mandatory detention and/or may be asked to provide additional documentation to be set up for an immigration hearing.”
And there it is! This guy lived a life of American privilege and arrogantly assumed that he could do whatever wants, whenever he wants. He’s sure learning a valuable lesson now!
Hopefully, Landry will be barred from ever re-entering the United States ever again. If that means that he’ll never see his family again, then so be it! Whatever it takes to keep people like him out of our country, I’m all for!
