As I mentioned yesterday, things are about to get very real in the Middle East if President Donald Trump executes the plans that he has made in response to the situation between bully nation Israel and victim nation Iran. Those plans will come with a hefty price tag, a price tag that will hopefully think long and hard about before he orders his plans to come to pass.
Indeed, if Trump moves forward with his plans, more than 40,000 of our troops will be in immediate danger. Unfortunately, that’s what they signed up for. No matter your MOS, you are a soldier (or each branch’s equal) first.
They knew the risks when they signed that contract, and now, sadly, it looks as if Uncle Sam will cash the blank checks that each and every one of them signed.
Less tragic will be the potential loss of life for American citizens who were stupid enough to go over there in the first place and who were dumb enough to not see the writing on the wall and who failed to get the hell out of there. I just can’t feel sorry for them, going to a hostile area.
Our troops have no choice. They have to man (or woman) up and follow through with what they swore to do when they shipped out.
No, the members of our military have no control over all of this, and that’s sad enough. Even more sad will be the inevitable deaths of our troops, some of whom recently graduated high school. Our fellow countrymen did have a choice, and that’s why I won’t mourn their almost certain deaths, though kidnapped Americans would be quite valuable over there, I think.
I have to wonder if it was worth it to our fellow American citizens. Was it worth the fancy job and even fancier paycheck? Was it worth living there just because? Was it finding out that they will likely never see home again? Whatever happens to them, they chose their own fate and as such cannot be pitied or mourned.
Everyone is fair game over there. Our troops will be participating in what is most likely the third world war. Our fellow Americans might find themselves the target of attacks both large and small. It will not be a vacation anymore. It will no longer be an interesting place to visit. Their choices were life and death and if things go sideways, they chose death.
Our military is slowly but surely sending assets to the entire region and that should absolutely be the writing on the wall that even the poorly educated can read. For example, I’m no genius, but I’m not retarded. I barely have any military experience, but I know to never visit a hostile country or region. Why? Because of what’s happening, and what’s worse, what will be happening.
Things are about to get spicy and the people who made the decision to put themselves in that position in the first place are about to regret their life choices if they don’t already regret them. All we can do as Americans sitting on US soil in our own country is sit back, grab a Classic Coke (or whatever) and let life happen.
There’s nothing that the average American can do at this point except perhaps prepare their home shelters, their bunkers, their condo silos, whatever. If you have those resources available to you, prepare those resources right now, before things get worse, not after they begin. Anyone can see that this is about to get much, much worse and better will be in the rear view mirror.
Gather your essential documents. You know, your birth certificate, marriage certificate, social security cards and government-issued identification cards. You won’t have time to do all of that once we as a nation pay for the decision that our government might make to bring on World War III.
Of course I cannot see into the future. No one can. I don’t know what’s going to happen in the coming minutes, hours and days ahead. Things could go south right now as you’re reading this, or something spectacular will happen and Iran and Israel will go the negotiation table and fix things before nuclear warfare starts.
Sure, we can maintain a positive attitude and believe that things will simmer down. Only those of us with security clearances know what DEFCON (Defense Readiness Condition) level we’re at. Only they know how bad it truly is, and as of the time that this article was written, what they know has not been revealed to the public. Of course it hasn’t! It’s a matter of national security!
Once we hit DEFCON 1 for the first time in our nation’s history, we’ll know it’s far too late to turn back. So spend time with your families. Treasure them and reach out to friends. Prepare for the worse possible scenario, because what may start out as a conventional war can and will develop into an all-out nuclear war overseas and Russia will target our country directly, and when that happens, and it will happen, life as we know it is gone forever.
Things are getting so bad that the famous Doomsday Clock is within seconds of hitting midnight and as we all know, we’re doomed at that point.
Yes, when the highest DEFCON hits in the coming days (or sooner), that means nuclear war is imminent or, sadly, it has already started. Once we hit that ominous condition, it’ll be too late for goodbyes, parting words and hugs or anything else.
Forget about your jobs, your back yard, your possessions, all of that. Just forget it, because the end is coming. It may not happen right away, but the minute that Trump orders in the literal troops, the end of our nation will not be far behind.
Think of that when it’s time for bed tonight. Those thoughts will give you sweet dreams!
