Another Florida sheriff steps up

Florida is a wonderful state because it is a true second amendment state.  Citizens actually have the right to defend themselves whereas those of us in New York are left powerless and vulnerable.  Here, the victim is the criminal and the criminal is the victim if they dare defend themselves thanks to the state’s archaic gun laws.

Florida is also known for having no-nonsense sheriffs.  One of them, Polk County sheriff Grady Judd is known for using the term “graveyard dead,” something that will happen to someone who commits a violent crime.

Along comes another sheriff, Brevard County’s Sheriff Wayne Ivey.  He spoke about the protestors who are causing problems all throughout the state.  He made it clear that those games won’t play in his county.  At a press conference, he said, “If you throw a brick, a fire bomb, or point a gun at one of one our deputies, we will be notifying your family where to collect your remains at because we will kill you graveyard dead.”

He also said:

“If you resist lawful orders, you’re going to jail,’ he said. ‘If you block an intersection or a roadway, you’re going to jail.

If you flee arrest, you’re going to go to jail tired, because we are going to run you down and put you to jail.

If you try to mob roll a car, gathering around and refusing to let the driver leave, in our county you’re most likely going to get run over and dragged across the street.

If you spit on us, you’re going to the hospital, and then jail. If you hit one of us, you’re going to the hospital, and then jail, and most likely bitten by one of our big, beautiful dogs here.”

That’s a great attitude for a true sheriff to have, but he gets no points for originality.  Surely he knew that Judd invented that term.  “Graveyard dead.”  I like that.  But Judd owns that term as he invented it and uses it often in his press conferences, where he holds up photos of the latest criminals in his county.

Sure, protesting is protected by the first amendment, but protesting and causing problems is not.  I don’t like people who protest anyway, but I certainly don’t respect protestors who victimize others to get their ridiculous points across.

In response to ICE raids in the area, protestors have gone from making clowns out of themselves to becoming hardcore criminals.  That has to stop!  It’s good to see that Ivey is looking out for the welfare of his law-abiding citizens.

As for the whole drama involving protests against ICE raids in California and Florida, the protestors are just being arrogant and traitorous.  If you stand up for illegals, you stand against America.  That’s just the way it is.

So, if you’re against ICE raids, please go to Florida and protest.  And let me eat popcorn as I see how it turns out for you!
