Ask the Catholic X community about Bishop Michael Martin, who is the sleaze you see to the left. He is the head of the Charlotte, North Carolina diocese. Go ahead, ask his parishioners about him and you’ll likely find most of them are not exactly members of his fan club. Why is he raising their ire? Yesterday, he took away the Traditional Latin Mass, which is an ancient and highly treasured form of Mass. His decision alienates plenty of faithful Catholics. He will be forever hated.
Martin’s treasonous move has taken TLM away from a lot of Catholics in North Carolina. Clearly, Martin is a traitor to Catholics and not only should he be shunned, but he should be excommunicated from the Church immediately, with his decision being reversed.
Martin is relatively new to the diocese. The scumbag was installed as bishop only last year. He clearly doesn’t want to be respected, nor does he want supporters. It’s quite obvious that he wants, for whatever reason, to be hated. He is accomplishing that goal and he is doing it mightily.
“Bishop Michael T. Martin is a wolf in sheep’s clothing,” wrote Ryan Gabriel on X. He is a rank-and-file Catholic who is absolutely correct. He managed to summarize Martin’s actions with brevity and accuracy.
Gabriel gets it. I am sure that he would support my position that Martin is lower than snail slime and, if not excommunicated, he should at least be removed from his position and the ability for him to ever serve in a leadership position should be removed permanently.
I would much rather see a child-molesting priest refrocked than see Martin remain as bishop. That is how awful a human being Martin is, at least in my opinion.
The Traditional Latin Mass is an important rite to faithful Catholics. It has been in place for centuries, so Martin swooping in like the vulture that he is and removing it cannot and should not be tolerated. Hopefully, this will be brought to the attention of Pope Leo XIV, who will then reverse Martin’s insane decision and then excommunicate him.
I suppose next, Martin will take away weekday Masses. Obviously, he’s a loose cannon and needs to be stripped of his powers. Justice demands nothing less!
Another poster on X, Christine Harrington had this to say:
“Before Catholics begin losing their minds over this..it did NOT come from Pope Leo [XIV]. This was a decision made by Bishop Michael Martin over the Diocese of Charlotte. He did not need to make this decision. Unfortunately .. he did.”
She’s absolutely correct! Martin had no justifiable reason to do this and he did it anyway. He probably descends from Nazis. To put it another way, Martin is Hitler, and the Catholics he rules over are the Jews.
The Traditional Latin Mass is something that I learned about back in 2021, when I was taking the classes that are necessary to become a Catholic as an adult.
It’ll be interesting to see what the fallout is, but I can imagine that he has a lot of enemies today in North Carolina. And he deserves every one!
