They worship Joseph Smith!

There a lot of things wrong with Mormonism.  The most important thing that you need to know is that it is a false religion, if even a religion at all.  Its founder and supposed “prophet,” Joseph Smith’s conduct was anything but Christian.

Joseph Smith was the furthest thing from decent.  There are so many things wrong with Mormonism and Smith that I can’t mention them all in this article.  What I will do is point you towards the famous CES Letter, a document authored by Jeremy Runnells, a famous anti-Mormon.

That letter lays it all out: Mormonism is based on fraud, outright lies and polygamy.

No, I can’t discuss everything, but here are the basics that you need to know about Mormonism and Smith:

  • Joseph Smith was a criminal with a known record of at least 40 crimes.  Some of his crimes including glass looking (claiming to be a finder of gold and other precious things) and disorderly conduct.  He was a guy who was well known in the Palmyra, New York area.  He was well known for all the wrong reasons.  He did all sorts of dishonest things.  Is that the conduct of a man who claims to be a “prophet?”
  • He claimed to use so-called “seer” stones to preach his message, but the problem is that he used those same stones to lie to and defraud innocent virgins.
  • He committed multiple acts of polygamy and scared his followers into compliance by claiming that an angel with a flaming sword commanded him to do so.
  • He married and slept with multiple teenage girls.
  • While he sent numerous men on overseas trips, he was busy marrying and sleeping with their wives.
  • Despite what they may say, Mormons do in fact worship Smith and this is evident in their own hymn Praise To The Man.

All of the things mentioned in this article and in the CES Letter are available in historical documents, some from the church’s own records.  Still, members stick their heads in the sand while they praise him.

When you take into account everything evil that Smith did, you will come to the conclusion that he deserved to be arrested in Nauvoo, Illinois.  It was absolute justice that he was placed into prison.  His conduct would be the literal nail in his coffin: he was brutally murdered and fell to his dying spot when he tried to escape jail rather than accepting the consequences of his actions, an act of a true Mormon.

It’s a sickening religion that should not legally qualify as a church at all.  The whole sick organization deserves to be shut down and its leaders need to be prosecuted for anything and everything possible.
