I have been running my own websites since 1994 and I first took up blogging in 2000. My blogs have evolved over time, but the vast majority of them have been taken offline for one reason or another. In the past, I have gotten trouble over the posts I’ve made and I consider it the cost of doing business.
Starting in 2005, I started striking fragile nerves with posts about, among other things, our military, police officers, idiot teenagers who played stupid games and won stupid prizes. Back then, I had no mercy and I didn’t care about hurt feelings. Well, those sorts of stories are coming back, dear readers!
Some of the many themes my posts will have going forward without fear or favor include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Articles about teenagers who stupid things, usually in traffic, especially those who die and who do things that put the rest of us at risk. I will carry an emphasis on teens who kill themselves, whether by stupid actions or by suicide, or other ways. This is done as a way not to traumatize readers, but to warn readers of the types of idiots that teenagers can be.
- Articles about cops, especially those here in Albany, New York, who do stupid things and win stupid prizes, even if that means writing about dead cops.
- Articles that involve the Mormon “church” in a negative or hypocritical light.
- Articles that condone or present in a positive light homosexuality or transgenderism.
- I will focus on articles that present President Donald Trump and Republicans, especially MAGA Republicans, in a positive light.
- I will focus on stories in the Albany area and I will go hyperlocal, reporting on things that happen in my specific neighborhood. If that means that I am harassed by my neighbors, then so be it.
Some examples of articles that will not be posted here include:
- Articles that present the US military and its active duty personnel and veterans in a negative light.
- Articles that present Catholicism in a negative light.
- Articles that present Mormonism in a positive light.
- Articles that would give free publicity to people or causes that I consider to be unworthy of my online real estate.
So keep coming often (giggity!), ideally every day! I think you’ll enjoy this site’s new direction. And as always, if you have news tips or story ideas, please contact me.
