Today, I changed my party affiliation from none to Republican. Since January 20th rolled around, I’ve seen the many things that our fine president Donald Trump and his party and other allies have done for our nation. I can’t just sit back and pretend that I have no political preference. Therefore, I have joined the best political party out there.
I get it. Albany is a Democratic city, and for that matter, the entire state is blue. There’s nothing that I can do about that, but I can make it known that I fully support Trump and what he’s doing. I’m especially fond of what he’s done about the problem of illegals. Under his leadership, many illegals have been sent packing and he has done so by any means necessary, even if those means seem cruel and overreaching to some.
I don’t care how illegals get caught. I just care that they do. I’ve cared about this problem all of my adult life, so much so that I’ve in the past ruined the lives of illegals who went to my church. That’s right. Many years ago, I reported an illegal in my congregation. He had a counterfeit family, a family that he did not deserve by virtue of his being illegal.
It doesn’t matter to me if illegals get caught unfairly, like, say, due to a traffic stop, even a traffic stop that turned out to be dirty. Activists whine about illegals’ supposed right to due process and about their undeserved rights. That simply cannot stand.
Under Trump’s watch, ICE is doing anything and everything that they possibly can in order to round illegals up and send them packing. I don’t care if ICE catches them at their homes as well as churches, hospitals, schools and even doctors’ offices and at funerals. Whenever, wherever.
Whatever it takes to get illegals out, I am absolutely for. And I love that Trump is making these things happen. We all know Biden did nothing but coddle illegals. Well, those days are over and Jose and Lupe are out the door.
Of course, Trump has done a lot of good in other areas, like trying like hell to make it so that birthright citizenship becomes a thing of the past. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court is making things quite difficult.
Of course US citizenship should not be automatically granted. It must be earned. Children of illegals, also known as anchor babies, should not become automatic Americans simply because they were on American soil when they emerged from their mothers’ wretched wombs.
It’s a huge problem when illegal Latina mothers give birth here, but in China, there’s a whole industry. They specifically ship pregnant Chinese non-citizens here to give birth, making their children citizens. We have to put a stop to that. Ideally, we should deport pregnant illegals before they have a chance to pop out their babies. But I don’t think that that would ever fly unfortunately.
Anyway, NBC News, my preferred network news source as it was my favorite network to work with as a master control operator in years past, published a fine article that lays out Trump’s biggest hints from the start of his second term.
- He’s done, as NBC reported, “mass deportations.”
- He’s sealed off our nation’s borders, making it even more difficult for illegals to slither in like the snakes that they are.
- He’s gotten rid of DEI.
- He’s imposed substantial tariffs, bringing more money into our country’s treasury.
- He’s issued at least 100 executive orders, most of which have gone into effect with some still in legal limbo because of legal action by people who do not have our country’s best interests at heart.
The list goes on and on. I could write about all the good that he’s done well into the wee hours of tomorrow. I proudly consider myself a Trump supporter and I am absolutely a supporter of the MAGA movement.
When NBC News officially called the election for Trump, I proudly changed my ringtone to YMCA. I love his YMCA Dance. I support every decision that he’s made thus far. Will I agree with every decision that he ever makes over the next four years? No, probably not, but he was and is the best man for the job. That’s why he won by a landslide. That’s why he kicked Kamala Harris’ ass.
The majority of voters saw that Harris is not competent to serve as our president. That was evident as each state called the results. Yes, at first Harris voters put her on the map and it was a wee bit concerning right out of the gate, but Trump quickly seized control and put Harris to shame. She got her ass kicked as bad as we got our ass kicked in Vietnam.
Our nation is in capable hands. And remember, the president has the sole authority to launch a nuclear attack, so we must have a president who takes that power seriously. In past presidential elections, people spoke about the president having his finger on the button, but of course there is no button. There are, however, a series of locks and keys involved.
Our system is set up so that no one person, not even the president, can just wake up one morning and decide to start World War III. A series of people must be involved. Not even the most powerful military officer can use his or her own authority to launch on their own.
Those Air Force officers that are always down there in our nuclear silos, waiting for the order that will hopefully never come? Authentication codes must be taken out of a red lock box and verified. A code must be input into their computer. That code tells the ICBM’s where to go.
After everything has been properly verified, it takes both of them to vote for a launch. Neither one of them can reach both keyholes. Also, at least two silo sites must agree to launch before the ICBM’s actually go flying, unstoppable. But none of that can happen without the president’s involvement.
There are a series of quick but secure steps the military and the president must take before he authenticates himself and authorizes a retaliatory strike as we have a policy of not striking first, something that should be changed, but I digress. Our nukes can be in the air within ten minutes of us detecting a nuclear strike from anywhere in the world.
Most of us know that the president is always near the Situation Room or the nuclear football if he’s away from the White House. When you see pictures of the president, you will likely notice a man in a military officer’s uniform, clutching a black briefcase. That is the football.
When the Air Force raises the alarm, a flurry of activity brings the football in front of the president. From there, he can read potential targets and he can review the series of retaliatory strikes that are available to him. He can launch in kind or he can launch the kitchen sink. But all of that is all an article unto itself.
The point that I’m trying to make there is that President Trump will be the one to make the final decision to launch, thereby ending the world as we know it. Would we really have wanted Harris within reach of the football? Would we want her reading off the verification codes on the biscuit?
That little card carries the code that is necessary for the president to confirm his identity and the validity of his order. That’s a serious power that Trump has. Would we want Harris holding that card? I don’t know about you, but my answer would be a resounding no way in hell.
No, I want Trump to be the one to make that decision, in association with his advisors. In past interviews on the subject, he’s acknowledged the serious power that he holds. He get it and I trust him with that responsibility. I don’t think Harris would be competent to make a decision that would impact the entire human race. That’s probably one reason that many Americans refused to hire her.
Not everyone is happy with the decisions that Trump is making, especially his decision to accept jet as a gift from Qarar, a decision that I support him on.
Look, dissent is to be expected in a democracy. No president is going to get it right 100% of the time. No president is going to have each and every citizen agree with him. But Trump is the best man for the job, and whether you like it or not, he is our nation’s leader for quite some time and as far as I’m concerned, he’s the best damn leader this nation has ever had or ever will have.
