Hannah Dugan: Traitor?

No one is above the law, of course, and Wisconsin judge Hannah Dugan is finding that out the hard way.  A couple of hours ago, she was indicted on charges relating to allegedly letting an illegal sneak out of her courtroom and away from awaiting federal agents.

Her arrest is causing some controversy, with some legal experts claiming that it wasn’t necessary for her to be handcuffed and “perp walked.”  No, no, of course not.  Because of course a judge should be able to break the law free of consequence.

Some people are claiming that it’s unfair that she was handcuffed as she showed up to work at the courthouse, arrogantly expecting to operate without consequence for her little stunt.  Well, letting illegals into our country is unfair, folks, so I really don’t care if Dugan and people like her are treated fairly or not.

I don’t feel sorry for Dugan, shown in the public domain photo to the left being led away by federal agents.  What she is accused of doing is, in my opinion, treasonous.  Illegals are our enemies, after all, and she, by all accounts, gave an illegal comfort and aid. I contend that that alone qualifies as a traitor’s behavior pattern.

We cannot allow anyone who assists an illegal to tap dance away from accountability.  Dugan is no exception.  In fact, as a judge, she must be held to a much higher standard than the rest of us.  I’m glad to see that the federal government is going full throttle.  Handcuffs and the walk of shame?  That’s the bare minimum as far as I’m concerned!

Dugan is accused of and indicted for helping an illegal evade arrest.  That’s a very serious thing.  Isn’t that a form of aiding and abetting?

Her lawyer whined to the media that she hasn’t been given a chance to give her side of the story.  Well, maybe that’s because she has no side.  She is accused of aiding an illegal and letting that illegal slither away from accountability.  Fortunately, that illegal’s been captured, but the harm she could have done is without measure.

Right now, the biggest enemies we as Americans have are illegals.  They should be captured, no matter where they may be.  Home, school, a food pantry, the hospital…when it comes to illegals, anywhere is fair game and anyone who gets in our way is the enemy, making Dugan a clear and present danger to the American way of life.  She no longer deserves to enjoy the American way of life.

Dugan faces the possibility of severe prison time for her little stunt, and I hope that she gets every year, month, week, minute and second that’s coming to her.  She deserves to have her personal and professional life ruined beyond repair.  She deserves to spend the rest of her living days behind bars without hope of parole or mercy.

As a judge, Dugan was responsible for upholding and enforcing the law.  That makes what she did even worse than if you or I did what she did, in my opinion.  It’s a very serious thing for a judge to let a criminal escape from their courtroom.  Make no mistake: an illegal is a criminal.  That’s why they’re called illegals after all.

Dugan had a duty to detain the illegal and allow the arrest to be carried out.  Not only did she fail to meet that duty, she is accused of doing the direct opposite!  That cannot stand.  A lifetime prison sentence is the only appropriate punishment here.

The photograph speaks volumes, folks: no one is above the law.  Not even a judge.  She may be professionally accomplished and she may be a respected jurist, folks, but the law applies to her just like it applies to you and I.  She must not be allowed to pick and choose which laws to enforce.

Dugan can have her precious personal feelings all she wants, but whatever motivated her to let an illegal slip away, knowing that he’s an illegal, she did the wrong thing.  And now she has to pay the piper.  If there’s any justice, she will not be offered a plea deal.

If justice is still alive in Wisconsin, she will be dealt with harshly.  Honestly, I think an illegal is more of a criminal than a child molester.  Accordingly, Dugan no longer needs to be in society with the rest of us.  She needs to be put into a cell surrounded by people she put in the neighboring cells.  That’s what I would call justice.

Thankfully, the Wisconsin Supreme Court quickly suspended her.  Hopefully, they will permanently remove her from the bench and hopefully, she will be disbarred and, what’s more, she will, if justice rings true, be disqualified from receiving her pension.

She deserves the harshest punishment possible!
