What a lowlife scumbag!

Anyone who knows me knows that I abhor drunk drivers.  There’s never any valid excuse for driving while drunk, especially not in an era of Uber and Lyft.  Well, I have a story of an accused drunk driver in, surprise, surprise, Florida.

Joshua Montero, 19, allegedly killed a toddler while, police say, under the influence of alcohol.  The allegations are that he plowed into the child while driving well above the speed limit and drunk. He apparently drove so fast that people were yelling at him to slow down.

After Montero failed sobriety tests, he was taken into custody after, police said, he failed a breathalyzer test.  After the child, Lepping, 2, died, Montero’s charges were upgraded to DUI manslaughter.   As of the time this article was published, Lake County inmate records indicate that he’s still in custody, right where he belongs.

There’s nothing that anyone could have done to save Lepping from this evil scumbag.  The fact that he’s from Florida says it all, don’t you think?

I don’t think that he’ll be treated too kindly while in jail.  The deputies and corrections officers sure don’t take kindly to people who do evil things to little kids.  Once the other inmates hear about what he did (and they will), I’m sure he’ll regret even being born.  Drunk drivers deserve every bad thing that happens to them, after all.

Hopefully, they come down hard on him.  No plea bargain.  The maximum prison sentence possible, or better yet, the death penalty.  When he’s convicted, he’ll be sent to state prison, where he’ll really regret what he’s accused of doing.  You can tell just by looking at his mug shot that he doesn’t regret what allegedly happened.  And of course, like most drunk drivers, there’s not a scratch on him.

Lepping wasn’t the one who should have died.  If he did what he’s accused of, then Montero should have been the one.
