I’m not the only one…he was lit

I’m angrier than a Catholic who saw the opening ceremonies of the Olympics.  As I mentioned a few hours ago, someone thought it’d be cute to have a bunch of drag queens and trannies mock the Last Supper.  I was outraged.  Many more Catholics and, for that matter, Protestants, were absolutely irate to say the least.  Their anger was plain to see on X.

I just got back from Saturday Mass, and we had a visiting priest as we are short on priests in our diocese.  When it came time for his homily, he did not hide his acrimony.  He called it an “absolute insult to Catholics everywhere.”  Without thinking, I nodded.  I was in the front row, and he was right next to where I was sitting.

“I see I’m not alone,” indicating me.  I absolutely agreed with him.  I’m grateful that he had the fortitude to stand up for what’s right and call out the evil that happened.

He went on to say that “some producer thought it was a bright idea to mock the Last Supper.”  It was more than just one producer.  Lots of people had a hand in it and not one of the drag queens or trannies saw the evil in their mockery and went on with it.  But then again, those people are evil to begin with, so of course they have no conscience.

I’m grateful to the priest, who jokingly introduced himself as “Father Fill In.”  He stood up in front of about one hundred people and said the truth that needed to be said.  I was tempted to clap, as some people tend to do, but thought the better of it.

Shame on everyone who went along with it.  The Last Supper should not be mocked.  God will not be mocked.  I hope that those evil people suffer immensely for what they did.
