The topic of World War III means different things to different people. I write about it often. Some people, especially those old enough to have lived through the Cold War, are prepared for it to happen. Some others stick their head in the sand and hope that it will just magically go away. It won’t.
Russia seems to threaten nuclear war every few months, if not sooner. So it is today. Former Kremlin advisor Sergei Karaganov, a former nuclear advisor to the Kremlin has now basically promised a nuclear response to Western Europe. Just more baseless, empty promises that have yet to come to pass? Wrong!
He wants Russia to strike those countries before anything happens, in order to ensure Russia remains the greatest nuclear country in the world. Well, that title belongs to both that country and the United States. Truth be told, Russia can and will one day wipe us off the map whereas we will only be able to retaliate (the USA is a non first-strike nation) and wipe out limited portions of their country.
Here’s the thing that should concern us all: Article V. If Russia does indeed conduct a preemptive strike, we are obligated to join in as a strike on one NATO nation is an attack on all. This means Russia will attack us and that is the end of our country, at least as we know it. Yes, there will be people cowering in bunkers, but they have to come up sometime and a horrible new world will greet them.
So what has Russia’s panties in a knot? They intend to punish countries that continue to back Ukraine. In other words, if countries such as ours don’t stop supporting an innocent nation such as Ukraine, we will find out just how horrible a nuclear world would be.
As for me, I want to be in the vaporization zone, and if threats like this ever come to fruition, many will die in less than a fraction of a fraction of another fraction of a fraction. Instantly, or days, weeks or months suffering of the cancer that will kill them, even those who will soon have to exit their hidey holes and they will suffer too.
He’s also kind of arrogant. He remarked, “Britain will attack Russia with nuclear weapons? I hope you’re not that crazy. I’m sure the Americans will not be that crazy.” Well, actually, he does have a point. Britain simply can’t attack Russia. If they do, it would be a suicide mission.
This guy further said that Russia is increasing the strength of their dominance over Ukraine. There is some question as to whether or not Russia will strike through conventional weaponry, or if they’ll man up and pull a Nike: just do it!
Russia has been called out for its continued victimization of Ukraine and for constantly issuing nuclear threats. This is what I’ve written about. It starts with a tiny attack which will escalate to an all-out nuclear war that none of us really want. At this moment, preppers are likely in their bunker condos that may or may not be able to support the needs of all those people, i.e. proper processing of human waste and clean water. But that’s for another article.
The majority of the rest of us who don’t have protective resources will indeed die. If Russia programs its nuclear warheads correctly, the USA will indeed exist no more. This latest threat should be taken seriously. If they follow through, be prepared to die. And I strongly recommend being within the vaporization zone.
