Welcome to America. Here, we don’t hold ourselves accountable. We just sue, sue, sue. A couple of months ago, I wrote about Donike Gocaj, who fell into an open manhole in New York City. Rather than shaking hands and walking away, her family is suing New York City. Even if the city was negligent, whatever happened to looking around at your surroundings?
This is really pathetic. She died because she was an idiot who was too stupid to look down. That’s all she had to do and she failed. Now her family wants a payday? Hopefully, they will countersue those scumbags into the ground!
