People who do awful things to cats should be dealt with harshly for the rest of their life. Mary Bale, of the United Kingdom, found that out the hard way. It was back in 2010 that she was caught on camera picking up a defenseless kitten and dropped that cat into a trash bin. When that footage made its way around the world, she got death threats and was exposed as the monster that she clearly is. That was too light a punishment.
The good news is that even in 2026, she has been neither forgiven nor forgotten. At the time that she did it, she arrogantly said, “‘I really don’t see what everyone is getting so excited about. It’s just a cat.” Interesting. Had anyone had the guts to do the right thing so that she could never harm a cat again, could I say that I really don’t see what she’s getting so excited about? It’s just a Mary Bale.
She should never live this down, even 16 years after the fact. She should forever be exposed time and time and time again. Nothing she can say or do should ever erase what she did to that harmless cat. She claimed at the time that since cats are good climbers, she thought the cat would just climb out and run away. Yeah…no. Plus, how could the cat possibly lift the lid?
No, Mary Bale should not be able to live a good life ever again. She should live the rest of her years alone and miserable. People should be able to walk by her home and egg it or TP it, given that it’s illegal to do what I want to do to her. Instead of being arrested for giving her the same consideration that she gave that poor cat, who died of unrelated causes five years ago.
It is fortunate indeed that the cat was rescued. It is also fortunate that it was all caught on camera. Had that cat been covered with more trash bags and had she got picked up and thrown into the garbage truck, things would have gone a lot worse for Bale. Hopefully, no one will ever hire her again and she should be shunned for the rest of her miserable days and given no funeral.
People who do bad things to cats are monsters. It is my belief that Bale is now and forever shall be a monster.
