Come on, coward!

This past week was quite the week for the Albany Police Department.  That’s because a city councilman was apparently stopped by Albany’s finest and he didn’t like it.  He then made allegations about the conduct of the police officers.  In response, the department’s chief, Brendan Cox, released the bodycam footage, something that I have never seen happen in the city: a police chief voluntarily releasing such footage.

It’s quite clear, to me anyway, that the conduct of the officers was professional and respectful.  It’s my opinion that the councilman, a coward who doesn’t get the honor of being named by me on this site, has an ulterior motive.  He should have known better.  Did he really think that Cox would stay silent and not rise to the defense of his officers?  How retarded!

In an interview with Albany’s NBC affiliate, Newschannel 13, Cox basically dared people to do a ridealong and see what his officers have to deal with on a daily basis, including seemingly false or at the very least exxaggerated accusations from people who seem to forget that the bodycams don’t lie.

Cox dared the city.  In fact, he triple-dog dared us.  Well, guess what, folks?  Challenge accepted!  I reached out to Cox’s office letting his people know that his little dare has been accepted.  So far, it’s been crickets.  I know for a fact that someone from his office visited this website.  I do have powerful statistics software.  I also know what the person read.  If they have time to read my site, they have time to contact me and arrange the details.

I am sitting here, ready, willing and able to sign a waiver and jump into a car.  I really do want to see what his officers do all day.  But so far, Cox is being a cowardly little bitch.

So what about it, Cox?  Are you man enough to honor your dares or are you just a punk?
