Little to no sympathy from me

It sure was a bad day for people at the Islamic Center of San Diego, which includes a mosque.  That’s because there was a mass shooting that took the lives of five people, including the alleged gunmen, both of whom committed suicide nearby.  At least one of the weapons used by the people who are accused of doing the shooting was taken from his parents.  You know that’ll be a lawsuit because…well….this is America and petty lawsuits are apparently the new American way.

Both of the alleged attackers were young and both apparently had White pride materials with them.  I certainly agree with what that sort of literature has to offer.  If you look at the New York Post article that I linked you to, you will see multiple pictures of people standing around while smelling their fingers.  What an odd reaction!

Yes, there were a lot of tears today, but none of them came from me.  While I do think that it’s a little excessive to go around shooting up places of worship, I’m not shedding any tears over the fact that the shooting involved Muslims.  Don’t go misquoting  me: I am unable on this platform to officially condone the shooting, but it’s my opinion that the boys were simply frustrated and they chose an unwise way to deal with that frustration.

Now, if this had taken place at a Catholic institution, or even a Mormon one, I would be writing a different article, wouldn’t I?  Yes, I would.  But because this involves Muslims and Islam, I am not exactly heartbroken.  Remember, those are the people who did 9/11.  So why care about them?  Why feel sympathy?  The answer is quite easy: don’t.

Look, these people did this to themselves.  When you bring down towers, kill thousands of naive but innocent people and cause a war, you have to expect some splashback.  That’s all this was, folks.

Let me be clear: I feel no sympathy, but at the same time, I think that their actions were a little bit unreasonable.  They could have and should have chosen a less violent way to vent their frustration.  Had they lived, however, I am sure that there would be a long line of patriots willing to pay for their legal defense.

I don’t feel sorry for those who died today, other than the purported attackers, nor do I feel bad for their families.  When you’re part of a violent organization such as Islam, there will be consequences.  Unlike Islam, the Catholics never hurt anyone.  The Mormons are delusional idiots, but they likewise never hurt anyone.  They are peaceful religions.  Islam is not.  That’s probably what set them off, and I can empathize with them for that.

To be clear, if you have a beef with any religion, even the Islamic “faith,” shooting people is never the answer.  While on one hand, it’s amusing to watch what happened today, on the other hand, it’s not worth giving up one’s life or freedom..  That’s why I feel bad for the accused boys.

To be honest, I can picture them standing before Jesus Christ and He, in my mind, said to them, “well done, thou good and faithful servants.”  That probably didn’t happen because they did technically violate that whole commandment thing.   You know, “thou shalt not kill,” which was actually mistranslated.  It should, both the Catholics and Mormons agree, read, “thou shalt not murder.”

While I wouldn’t go so far as to call what they did murder, I will admit that there actually is no defense as far as God is concerned for what happened today.   They will have to answer for their actions today and while I have maximum respect for them and what they allegedly did, I can’t defend them on a biblical standpoint.

To anyone reading this who may think it would be cute to be a copycat, don’t.  Just don’t.  It’s not worth the outcome, which will be either death or arrest.  Instead, thrill to stories such as this and keep those thoughts to yourself, or, hell, blog about your thoughts on the whole matter.

Just don’t actually go out and do things like this for real.  Just sit back and enjoy watching bad things happen to bad people, as was the case today.
