There are too many city employees who enjoy a city paycheck without actually living in our community. The time to put that to end is now, and I’m just the person to make that happen.
It’s time to require all of our employees to actually live in Albany. Everyone from the garbage collectors to the mayor. This would apply to current and future employees. After all, if an employee resides outside of Albany while collecting a paycheck from Albany, then that person has no loyalty to our fair city.
Those employees who suck on Albany’s teat without living here should simply sell their houses and move in. It’s not that big of a deal.
