Vicious dogs are a serious problem in Albany. In late 2024, a man who was simply minding his own business was mauled to death by a pack of pit bulls. Under my leadership, that problem would cease to exist in Albany.
I will empower the reformed APD to seek out and confiscate any and all vicious dogs and have them destroyed. These measures will make our residents safer. I will then criminalize possession of these violent and dangerous breeds.
Of course, all manner of other dogs will continue to be welcome within city limits, and what’s more is that I will reduce the registration fees for these beloved animals.
Even better is the fact that once these dogs are removed and destroyed, your renter’s and homeowner’s insurance premiums will go down.
