There must be consequences

If the allegations against Alexia Moore ring true, she murdered her baby earlier this month by ingesting misoprostol, a drug that forces an abortion.  The issue at hand is that in her state, Georgia, abortions are illegal past a certain point.  The baby, who was born prematurely and died after an hour of life, was around 24 weeks in development.

If the allegations are indeed true, Moore murdered an innocent baby.  Clearly, Moore didn’t want the baby, so rather than carry the baby to term and give her up for adoption, she selfishly and brutally caused the death of a child who did nothing to her.  Moore could have prevented it altogether simply by keeping her legs shut.

Abortion cannot be tolerated for any reason, and I do mean for any reason whatsoever.  Abortion is murder and there’s no getting around that.  I don’t care if the baby is a product of rape or incest, abortion is absolutely murder and the mothers who have abortions should, in my opinion, spend the rest of their lives in prison with absolutely no shot at parole.

Moore has been charged with very serious crimes: murder, possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of a controlled substance.  Thankfully, she is being held in jail in Camden County.  Hopefully, the other inmates know what she did.  Inmates don’t tend to welcome with open arms fellow inmates who do anything to children,

If those inmates do find out, then it’ll perhaps be Moore’s whose life is next aborted.  Of course, that would be wrong too, but she could have avoided all of this by being more responsible.  She is clearly selfish.  It was all about her, apparently, never about that innocent child and never a loving adoptive family just waiting for their chance at parenthood.

People like Moore deserve to be locked away from society for the safety of said society.  It is my hope that, one way or another, Moore gets what’s coming to her for what she allegedly did.  She has yet to be convicted by a jury of her peers, but she’s already been convicted in the Court of Mike.

Next case!
