Jeffrey Glowatski is the scum of the earth. That’s because he drove drunk. Anyone who drives drunk is a potential murderer. Well, this guy slaughtered an innocent child and he walked away, free of any true consequence. Yes, he pled guilty late last year and will serve less than six months for the girl’s murder. That is what it is when you kill someone while driving drunk: murder.
Roxanne Bonnoni, 11, paid the price for his drinks. I’d say that I hope he regrets what he did, but monsters don’t have a conscience. And he’s surely a monster. A true punishment would be life without parole, with all of his fellow inmates knowing he murdered a child. As it stands, his fellow inmates will know he’s a child killer. They will treat him accordingly.
When Glowatski gets out, assuming that he gets out alive, which I hope he doesn’t, he will have to serve probation, but that’s not really a punishment. That’s a cake walk. That’s a sweetheart deal. Shame on the scumbag judge for going along with this garbage. A true judge would have put him in jail for the rest of his life.
This winner was driving with twice the legal limit and he still drove. That’s what makes him a murderer. That’s what makes him a monster. We should do like North Korea does: his parents, if they are still alive, should be in confinement with him.
Glowatski sadly found a lawyer, David Shrager, who’s enough of a scumbag to defend him. That attorney happily told the media that his client isn’t a murderer. He crowed that the evidence wasn’t there. What else is there to know? He drove. He was drunk. Someone died. Game over, right? Apparently, not when a child is murdered.
What makes this even worse is that Glowatski slaughtered, with no remorse, a deaf child. Why vigilante justice hasn’t taken over, I don’t now. Some people just need killing and Glowatski’s one of them. His attorney was clapping with glee and said nary a word about his client being remorseful. That tells me all I need to know about the attorney and the “man.”
The attorney has no conscience. He clearly thinks it’s okay to murder little children. Don’t worry. I know how to deal with people like him and I’m working on that. His websites makes it clear that he thinks drunk drivers have a “good name.” No, they don’t.
What’s even worse is the fact that the drunkard is not a felon. All he got was a slap on the wrist.
Both Shrager and Glowatski deserve to lose someone they care about, assuming that they can even feel feelings, only to tap dance out of accountability like Glowatski did. Six months and probation is a reward, not a punishment. Shrager has literally profited off of the death of an innocent, disabled child. Glowatski has shown that driving drunk and killing people is acceptable.
May they both suffer the same grief that the girl’s family is and actually, may they both be killed by drunk drivers and may those drivers get away with it like Glowatski did.
