Today, I am very disappointed in the Supreme Court. It seemed as though they were getting it. You know, doing the right thing. They ruled in favor of parents who don’t want their children exposed to trans freaks. They also got it right when they cleared the way for the “x” gender flag on our country’s passports. Today, however, they blew it. Big time.
A true American patriot, a true defender of basic human decency, Kim Davis, stood tall and refused to issue same-sex marriage licenses. As you might imagine these days, she was hated by snowflakes everywhere. David brought a lawsuit that made it to SCOTUS and today they refused to overturn the filthy, evil decision that made gay marriage legal everywhere in the United States.
Until the highest court in our land ruled in favor of perverting the sacred institution of marriage, thirty-sex evil states allowed gay marriage. The court’s decision forced the remaining fourteen states to allow people of the same gender to marry one another. Disgusting!
Davis has been seeking, and rightfully so, to have a $360,000 judgement against her vacated. A gay couple that she turned away sued her rather than simply going elsewhere to get a marriage license. They saw dollar signs, got greedy and did what too many people do: run to the courts to sue in a greedy money grab. I suspect that that’s what happened to her. She’s the victim, not the couple.
Davis’ attorney was quoted as saying that his client “now faces crippling monetary damages based on nothing hurt feelings.” And there it is! This couple was butthurt because they were turned away by Davis. There’s no way that they deserve all that money, or any money for that matter.
Clearly, the Supreme Court no longer cares about doing the right thing, only the popular thing. I mean, hey, gay marriage is trendy, isn’t it? It’s the “in” thing to do. That doesn’t make it right, which it isn’t. No church that supports gay marriage can truly believe in Christ. After all, homosexuality and Christianity cannot co-exist. We all know that.
Unfortunately, the vile couple will work hard to collect that money to the detriment of Davis’ very existence. No wonder then that gay people are not only disgusting, but greedy and evil as well.
