This is getting hilarious!

I have been following the SNAP drama quite closely, and in my most recent post on the matter, I expressed my anger towards the fact that funds could have been made available to recipients as soon as today.  I was looking forward to seeing all the whiny TikToks from people claiming starvation, including children.

Well, my day got a little brighter today: it will likely take months for people to see that money because only partial benefits will be paid out for November following court orders that the Trump administration was given.  It seems that, even in 2025, technology is hindering progress.  It turns out that the systems aren’t programmed to handle partial benefits, meaning that benefits simply won’t be happening anytime soon.  Let the whiny posts begin!

What’s even better is that with every day that the shutdown continues, the chance of recipients getting their December benefits grows weaker and weaker.  This too is amusing to me.  I feel no sympathy for those affected.

The solution is simple.  If these people are hungry, they can simply put down their fancy phones and leave their homes with their high-priced hairdos and fingernail jobs and go get a, you know, job.  Just like the rest of us.

I know that some people thought that they were getting their benefits today.  Denied!  Maybe later this week?  Nope!  Get a job!
