I have noticed that I have been getting numerous visitors from Reddit. Now, I know what Reddit is and I know why people are coming here at a rate of, it looks like, of maybe 137 visitors per day. That’s not really a lot to be honest, and it’s not a game-changer at all. Reddit is, to be honest, an inconsequential website with no real influence or useful purpose.
Sure, I’ve tried using Reddit, but not for several years. The last time I visited, it was clunky, awkward and it was impossible to navigate their message boards, or whatever Reddit calls them. To be honest, I really want nothing to do with Reddit and I wish its readers would stop visiting me.
So, in all seriousness, if you came here from Reddit, please do whatever it is you do to go away. I don’t care how you go away, but just please...go away and do not ever come back. I do not want you and your ilk here. I do not want you here.
The wife reads the Albany message board and that’s fine. If she can put up with the difficult-to-navigate site, then whatever. She keeps telling me when I get mentioned on the board, and she says that some people seem to think that I am posting there. I can assure you that I am not. Reddit is a crap site and it is useless to me and my campaign.
I’ve asked the wife to stop telling me anything about the Albany board. I do not care if people are discussing me, or more to the point, my campaign. I don’t want or need anything to do with that site or its users.
Sure, on one day, after the local NBC affiliate aired a piece on myself and the other candidates, I got 3,519 visitors from that silly Reddit site over a three-hour period immediately after its airing. Yeah, that drove traffic to my site at a rate of 1,053 new visitors per hour, but is it really the sort of traffic that I want?
No.
I want nothing to do with Reddit and the sooner those incels stop coming here the better. That site will have no bearing on my campaign, whether positive, neutral or negative. I simply don’t care. I don’t.
So, please, if you found yourself here from anywhere on Reddit, just know that you are not wanted or needed here. So, kindly and immediately piss off.
