Today it has emerged that the Department of Justice is taking steps to remove citizenship from naturalized citizens due to criminal acts or acts of omission. That’s a great start, but it’s not great enough. The naturalization process started in 1790 and of course has evolved over time. It is estimated that in 2025, more than 800,000 people were naturalized in the United States.
It’s time to take out the trash, folks. President Trump is taking out the worst of the trash by empowering ICE to remove illegals by any means necessary, and they are doing a fine job. Hell, I even helped detain an illegal until an ICE agent ran up and took over. You should do that too. But that’s not all.
It’s time that we end naturalization altogether. At the same time, we should end birthright citizenship. Merely being born on US soil should not be good enough to enjoy US citizenship and everything that comes with it. No, citizenship should be given only when certain criteria has been achieved. But that’s another post for another time.
As for naturalization, the time to stop it is now. People who have already been naturalized should have that naturalization revoked and they should then be deported with all due haste. Only Americans belong in America. The American dream? That should belong solely to Americans. Let aliens seek refuge elsewhere. We have been far too welcoming for far too long.
It’s okay to let foreigners visit. That’s fine. But they should only be allowed in for three months. They must then leave and wait for one year, at which point they can enjoy another three-month stay. There should no longer be educational or vocational visas. A foreigner marrying a US citizen should no longer be an automatic privilege to stay. This will put an end to green card fraud.
This is another rant for another time, but if one wants to be admitted into the USA, even for a brief stay, they should show their proficiency in English. I’m tired of Mexicans babbling in Spanish, expecting me to know their language. Sometimes, they’re faking it. On one occasion, some Mexican guy yapped at me in Spanish.
When I told him he’s in America, he responded, “okay, tough guy.” Well, gee, turns out he speaks English after all! How many more are faking it? Regardless, if one can’t prove they can speak English, then they can neither live nor visit our fine country. That is how it should be, effective immediately.
It’s time to lock America down and only let in people who truly belong here.
