Pope Leo has implored world leaders to bring all wars to a halt. Why would he get involved in this mess? Because war, except in a case of self defense, is a mortal sin. Anyone who declares or fights in war is committing a mortal sin. Yes, that includes members of our military. None of the wars that the USA has involved itself in was justified, except for the Revolutionary War and The War of 1812.
Every other war did not need to involve us, meaning that all presidents who declared those wars and all those members of the military committed mortal sins. Just something to think about.
